I still think a link to a third party video site is probably better - better quality and bigger picture.

I like the work you are doing here Steve. I have noticed that I cant watch videos on the blog in full screen mode, which is annoying. At the same time you dont want your readers to have to jump off your page. Perhaps if you were to offer the video, and the link for those videos better suited to a full screen.
